Exmouth Youth Theatre in the news!

We love it when the hard work and enthusiasm of our young people makes it into the news!

Exmouth Youth Theatre (formerly Blackmore Youth Theatre) hit the local news in 2019 when we achieved sell-out shows for our production of Annie Junior:

In 2020 we were incredibly proud of their resilience throughout the national lockdown period – they showed continued commitment to rehearsing online when face-to-face rehearsals weren’t possible.

Later in 2020, a further lockdown amidst ongoing global concern around the coronavirus pandemic inspired us to take on a brand new challenge. Our young members recorded themselves singing in their own homes for a virtual performance of the song “Tomorrow” from the musical Annie. The result was a spectacular film which was viewed by more than 3000 people on social media!

In 2021 we were a winner at the Exmouth Business Awards. We were absolutely delighted to be awarded the title of Best Community Group.
